Volunteer Handbook
A volunteer is a person who is available to make a difference in another person's life. They come in all ages and sizes, big and little, younger and older. A volunteer is what makes therapeutic riding happen for persons with dissabilities. For without volunteers, riders wuld not be safe and able to interact, be able to learn more and do more, as the volunteer is there to help assist and to encourage them to try, and try again if need be. The bond that happens between a rider and the volunteer is one that can only be experienced and felt deep inside a person. Volunteers are the life-blood of most non-profit organizations, but few get to experience the rewards of therapeutic horseback riding, as it is 'therapeutic' for them too!! There is not enough words to describe the value and thankfulness to our volunteers. Come on out and 'join us', touch a life!
